Ty Del Rose – Chicago, IL, USA

Ty Del Rose is a freelance touring and session drummer based out of Chicago, Illinois. He is perhaps best known as the touring and recording drummer of Smile Empty Soul from 2018-2024, in which he appeared on five of the band’s studio releases: Sheep (2019), 2020 (2020), Black Pilled (2021), The Loss Of Everything (2022) and Swan Song (2025). Other past touring credits include Another Lost Year (2017-2018) and Romantic Rebel (2015-2016). Currently, Del Rose works regularly with Xtreme Cover Bands, an entertainment company out of Chicagoland. He also works with Nirvana tribute band Smells Like Nirvana, and continues to fill in and offer remote and in-person studio recording for various artists and bands of a wide variety of genres.
