russion field drum from 1900-1920. Modified to modern snare configuration. Shell is a 14.25″ configuration with a 15 head and hoop setup. The original snare beds would not fit the modern snare sound, so the metal drum has added snare beds. Due to the offset of the 14.25″ shell and the 15″ configuration, there is a visual cosmetic on the heads, but it does not impact the sound. When we build this thing, we honestly had no idea what we were going to end up with…and I will say this drum SCREAMS studio and stage. We were absolutely blown away by this piece. This is one that if we don’t sell. it will end up in the drum studio.
